CoreLabs (the "Company"), operator of WakeAgain (web · Play · App Store), publishes this policy to protect user personal data under Korea's Personal Information Protection Act and related law.
1. Why we collect data
Account management (signup, email verification, fraud prevention) · identity checks before listing/bidding/closing a deal (real name, phone) · running the marketplace (listings, interest, bids, web/app sync) · settlement (fees, payout account, dispute handling) · support and anonymized/aggregated usage stats.
2. What we collect
- Signup: email, password (hashed), date of birth (to confirm age 14+), display name (optional). Under-14 signup is blocked; birth date is never shown publicly.
- Identity (Lv2): real name, phone, role
- Settlement (Lv3): account holder name, bank, account number (encrypted at rest), business status (optional)
- Listings / interest: project details, contact email, whatever else you choose to enter
- Automatic: access logs, IP, device/browser, cookies, error logs
Real name, phone, and payout account are never shown on the public listing feed as-is. Seller identity is self-reported and identity verification may be strengthened over time. For mail-order-intermediary disclosure, a seller's business name/registration number may appear on a listing's detail page; full phone/email are masked and only released to the winning buyer or the seller themselves.
3. How long we keep it
Account data: until account deletion. Payment/contract records: 5 years by default (Korean e-commerce law). Dispute/complaint records: 3 years. Access logs: as required by law. Data is destroyed once its purpose is served or on account deletion, except where law requires separate retention first.
4. Sharing with third parties
We do not share data externally except with consent or a legal obligation. Cloud hosting, email delivery, and (once launched) payment processing may be delegated to processors; any such processor will be disclosed here once finalized.
5. Security measures
Hashed passwords, encrypted payout account numbers, HTTPS in production, least-privilege access, access logging. Developer-only email-code exposure (EMAIL_DEV_MODE) is disabled in production.
6. Your rights
You can request access, correction/deletion, processing suspension, or withdraw consent / delete your account: corelabs.studio@gmail.com.
Account deletion: per app-store policy, use the account deletion page to see the steps, what's deleted vs. retained, and how long (https://wakeagain.com/legal/delete-account.html).
